This tool allows straight mortising of keyslots in bores. It must be used with a carbide insert (to be ordered separately) according to the dimensions and the desired cutting tolerance.

- REV tools are made with
hardened and cooled tool steel.
- The section that houses the insert is
quenched to 58/60 HRC, making it very resistant to compression and
guarantees the tool a long service life.
- The REV pinout tool has
4 mm holes for forced coolant supply
which, in addition to lubricating and cooling the insert, is used for
extract chips, produced by broaching or grooving, out of the hole
one-eyed.
- The tool is available in two
socket diameters (25 and 32).
- Two ranges of tools are available
For each socket diameter: standard and long (identified by the
suffix "L" in the code).
- The REV pinout tool guarantees a
Low impact on machine tool bearings.
- To date, none of the thousands
of REV users have not reported breakage problems, or
unusual wear caused by CNC pinout.
- Based on REI testing, the cutting effort to make key housings with a width of 20 mm, for example, is comparable to the cutting force required for a hole common 14 mm in diameter.
- The tool comes in a plastic case with a mounting screw and a positioning pin.
- The carbide insert is to be ordered separately.
